जब हम किसी बात को विस्तार में बताना चाहते हैं लेकिन यहां कार्य भूतकाल में हुआ है तो Past tense की सहायता से हम अपनी बात का वर्णन करते हैं।

बात चाहे जरूरी सूचनाओं की हो या फिर अपने जीवन में घटित बातें उसे बताने के लिए भूतकाल का उपयोग किया जाता है।

सामान्य भूतकाल (SIMPLE PAST TENSE )

Defination of Past simple Tense

Past simple Tense का उपयोग हम तब करते हैं जब निश्चित समय में कोई क्रिया घटित हुई होती है या फिर हाल ही में कोई घटना घटी है।

Past simple Tense की पहचान

वाक्य में verb के साथ अगर “ता था, ती था, ते था “आता है तो इसका मतलब है कि हमें Past simple Tense इस्तेमाल करना है ।

Structure of Past Indefinite Tense(Affirmative Sentences)

Subject (क्रिया कर्ता) + Past Simple Verb (v2) + Object

1. मैंने कल किताब पढ़ी। (I read a book yesterday.)

2. उसने खाना बनाया। (She cooked food.)

3. हमने एक नया गाना सुना। (We heard a new song.)

4. उन्होंने फिल्म देखी। (They watched a movie.)

5. मेरे दोस्त खुश थे। (My friends were happy.)

6. वह अपने दोस्त से मिली। (She met her friend.)

जब कोई कार्य भूतकाल में चल रहा होता है तो उसके लिए Past continuous का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।

3. Past Perfect Tense in Hindi 

जब कोई कार्य भूतकाल में ही पूर्ण रूप से समाप्त हो जाता है तो उसे व्यक्त करने के लिए past perfect tense का उपयोग किया जाता है।

Past Perfect Tense की पहचान है कि वाक्य के अंत में चुका था , चुकी थी , चुकी थी आदि आएगा तब Past Perfect Tense आपका उपयोग कर सकते हैं।

Structure of the Past Perfect Affirmative sentence:

4. Past Perfect Continuous Tense in Hindi –

Past Perfect Continuous Tense इस टेंस का उपयोग तब किया जाता है जब कोई कार्य भुतकाल में शुरू हुआ हो और कुछ समय तक चल रहा हो , तब इस टेंस का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है

पहचान: जब वाक्य के अंत में क्रिया रहा था, रही थी, रहे थे, आदि साथ में समय जरूर बताया जाता है इसीलिए इस tense के स्ट्रक्चर में for /since लगते हैं ।

Structure : Subject + had + been + V4 +for /since + Other Words
