Use of Would in Hindi -Would का प्रयोग कब किया जाता है?

Would एक Modal Verb है जिसे हिंदी में हम “वुड ” ही कहते हैं ।Would का उपयोग वर्तमान और भूतकाल दोनों में किया जाता है ।

would का प्रयोग कई जगह किया जाता है इसलिए कई बार बच्चों को would का प्रयोग समझने में तकलीफ आती है लेकिन जब आप हमारे से संग है तो किस बात का गम है !☺️

1. Polite request in present :-

Would का प्रयोग विनम्र निवेदन करने के लिए किया जाता है जैसे कि अगर आपको कहना है कि आप एक गिलास पानी दे देंगे ?क्या आप मुझे वहां तक छोड़ देंगे ?

Polite request के लिए हम Would का प्रयोग करते हैं ।

क्या आप मेरी मां के लिए दरवाजा खोल देंगे ?

Would you please open the door for my mother?

क्या आप मेरा एक काम कर देंगे ?

Would you please do me a favor ?

क्या तुम मेरा होमवर्क कर दोगे ?

Would you please do my homework?

Note :कुछ लोग सोच रहे होंगे कि वाक्य के अंत में गा / गे / गी है तो यह सभी वाक्य भविष्य काल के हैं ।

दोस्तों ऐसा नहीं है जब भी आप वर्तमान में किसी से Request करते हैं तब आप इस प्रकार से कहते हैं :क्या दरवाजा खोल देंगे ?

इस वाक्य का सीधा साफ मतलब है कि वर्तमान स्थिति में आप किसी को दरवाजा खोलने के लिए कह रहे हैं ऐसे वाक्यों के लिए Would का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।

2)Would = Desire

Desire को बताने के लिए Would का प्रयोग किया जाता है या Politely किसी की इच्छा जानने के लिए भी हम Would का प्रयोग करते हैं ।

इन वाक्यों की पहचान ऐसी है कि अंत में “चाहूँगा”आता है जैसे की मैं और पढ़ना चाहूँगा , वह आपसे बात करना चाहूँगी , राहूल गीत जाना चाहेगा ।

structure

1. Affirmative- [Subject + would like to + v1 + Object]
2. Negative – [Subject + would not like to + v1 + Object]
3. Interrogative sentence -[would + Subject + like to + v1 + Object]
4. W.H Interrogative sentence -[W.H word + Would + Subject + ( not ) + like to + v1+ Object ?]

Examples :

• मैं आपको बताना चाहूंगी ।
• I would like to tell you.
• क्या आप कोल्ड ड्रिंक पीना चाहेंगे ?

Past form of will 

भूतकाल में जब आप किसी से कुछ भविष्य के बारे में कह रहे हैं तब आप will की जगह would का उपयोग करते हैं ।

आसान शब्दों में कहूं तो भूतकाल में भविष्य की बातों को बोलने के लिए would का प्रयोग होता है ।

उदाहरण के माध्यम से आपको अच्छे से समझ आएगा

• उसने कहा कि मैं बर्गर खाऊंगी

पहले clause ( उसने कहा ) से समझ आ रहा है की बात भूतकाल में कही गई है ।

दूसरे clause (मैं बर्गर खाऊंगी )से समझ आ रहा है की बात भविष्य के बारे में बोली जा रही है ।

इसका मतलब यहां है कि भूतकाल में कही गई बात जो भविष्य में होनी है ।

इस तरह के वाक्य को जब हम वर्तमान स्थिति में किसी को बताते हैं तब हम will की जगह would का इस्तेमाल करते हैं ।

ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि बातें Past में बोली गई है इसीलिए will की जगह would बोला किया जाएगा ।

पहले clause को भूतकाल के अनुसार बनाया जाएगा और दूसरा clause में would का प्रयोग किया जाएगा ।

• उसने कहा कि वह चाय नहीं पिऐंगा ।
• He said that he would not drink tea.
• वह नहीं जानता था कि उसकी मम्मी पापा गोवा जाएंगे ।
• He did not know that his parents would go to Goa.
• वह कहता था कि पढ़ाई में आगे जाएगा
• He said that he would go ahead in his studies .
• तुम कहते थे कि सिगरेट नहीं पियूंगा ।
• You said that you wouldn’t smoke cigarettes.
• मुझे लगा कि तुम किताब नहीं पढ़ोगे ।
• I thought you wouldn’t read the book .
• मुझे पता था कि तुम मार्केट जाओगे ।
• I knew that you would go to the market.
• उस लगा कि मैं अपना वादा निभाऊंगी
• He thought that I would keep my promise .
• मेरे पिता ने कहा कि तुम कोलकाता जाओगी
• My father said that you would go to Kolkata .
• वह जानता था कि लोग उसकी बुराई करेंगे ।
• He knew that people would speak ill of him.
• उसे लगा कि तुम स्पीच नहीं डिलीवर करोगे ।
• He thought that you would not deliver the speech.
• मेरी मम्मी जानती थी कि मैं तुम्हें राज नहीं बताऊंगी ।
• My mother knew that I would not tell you the secret.
• उस पता था कि वह दिल्ली जाएगा ।
• He knew that he would go to Delhi.
• क्या तुम्हें पता था कि मैं किताब नहीं खरीदूंगी ?

• उसने कहा था कि मैं एक किताब पब्लिश करूंगी ।
• She said that I would publish a book .
• उन लोगों ने कहा कि वे समय पर पहुंच जाएंगे ।
• They said that they would reach on time.
• वह जानता था कि लोग उसके बारे में बातें करेंगे ।
• He knew that people would talk about him.

How to use would in indirect speech? 

would (Narration )direct speech से indirect speech बनाते समय भी would का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।

• उसने कहा कि मैं मार्केट जाऊंगी ।
• She said that she would go to the market .
• Note: पहला Clause Past tense में है और दूसरा Clause Future tense में है ऐसी स्थिति में आप shall/will का प्रयोग नही “would ” का प्रयोग करते हैं ।
• Direct :उसने कहा कि मैं मार्केट जाऊंगी ।
• She said , “ I will go to the market.”
• Indirect:She told me that she would go to the market .
• Direct : उसने कहा कि मैं किताब पढ़ूंगी
• She said , “ I’ll read the book”
• Indirect :She told me that I would read the book.
• Direct : मुझे लगा कि वह पैसा खर्च करेगा
• I thought, “He will spend the money.”
• Indirect :I thought that he would spend the money.
• Direct :मैंने कहा था कि मैं एक ग्लू गन खरीदूंगी
• I said “I will buy a glue gun.”
• Indirect : I said that I’d buy a glue gun.
• Direct : मैंने सोचा दिलराज किताबें खरीद लेगी
• I thought “ Dilraj will buy the books”
• Indirect :I thought that Dilraj would buy the books.
• Direct :उसने कहा कि वह तुम्हारे लिए पैसों का इंतजाम कर दूंगा
• He said “ He will arrange the money for you”
• Indirect :He said that he would arrange the money for you .
• Direct :उन्हें लगा कि मैं वहां झगड़ा करूंगी
• ।
• They thought “I will fight there ”
• Indirect :They thought that I would fight there .

💞💞Would for past habits examples sentences

Past habit (भूतकाल की आदत ) बताने के लिए भी Would का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।ऐसी आदतें जो हम भूतकाल में हमेशा बार-बार दोहराते थे ,उन वाक्य का जिक्र करते हुए Would का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।

used to और would दोनों का प्रयोग भूतकाल की आदत को बताने के लिए किया जाता है ।

Note : कोई व्यक्ति भूतकाल की बात करते हुए आपने कोई वाक्य में used to से शुरू किया तो अन्य वाक्यों में would का इस्तेमाल करना है।

उदाहरण के माध्यम से आप अच्छे से समझ जाएंगे .

• वह गीत गया करती थी ( it’s represent Past habit )
• मेरी मम्मी अपनी सहेली के यहां जाया करती थी ।
• रामू पैसे चुराया करता था ।

ऐसे वाक्यों से पता चलता है कि भूतकाल में इंसान कोई कार्य को बार-बार किया करता था। इन वाक्यों में would का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है ।

Structure 

Affirmative:Subject + would + v1 + object.

Negative:Subject + would + not + v1 + Object.

Uses of Would rather –

Would rather का प्रयोग Choice और Preference बताने के लिए किया जाता है । जब इंसान के पास दो ऑप्शन होते हैं तो अपनी पसंद को बताने के लिए Would rather का प्रयोग करके वह वाक्य बना सकता है ।

जो कार्य आपको पसंद है उसे Would rather की बाद लिखे ।

Subject + would rather + v1 + object + than +v1+ object

• जैसे की :-तुमसे शादी करने के बजाए मैं अपना कैरियर बनाना पसंद चाहूँगी ।
• I would rather pursue my career than marry you.
• रोशनी चाय के बजाए coffee लेना पसंद करेंगी ।
• Roshni would rather have coffee instead of tea.
• वह तुमसे बात करने की बजाय तुम्हारे पापा से बात करना पसंद करेगा।
• He would rather talk to your dad than you.
• मैं बोलने की बजाय लिखना पसंद करूंगी।

Would in Conditional Sentences 

Conditional Sentences में Would का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।

unreal imagination में Would का प्रयोग होता हैं।

• जैसे :- अगर मैं राजा होता तो तुम्हें सजा सुनाते
• If I were the king , I would punish you .
•  Conditional Sentences में तीन तरह की सिचुएशन होती है :
• State of being ( कुछ होने की स्थिति ) जैसे डॉक्टर होते , पुलिस होते , सिपाही होते ,पेंटर होते ।
• 2. State of possession ( कुछ पास होने की स्थिति )
• 3 Action ( जब आप कार्य के बारे में कल्पना करते हैं )
• structure :-
• Subject + were + object + , + Subject + would + v1 + object.
• अगर तुम मेरे दोस्त होते तो मैं तुम्हें अपने राज बताता ।
• If you were my friend, I would tell you my secrets.

Note :ऊपर दिए गए उदाहरण में पहली Clause में शर्त बताई गई है और दूसरा Clause में परिणाम ,जिस clause में परिणाम बताया जाएगा वह would का प्रयोग किया जाएगा ।

• अगर वह अजनबी होता तो मैं उससे कभी बात नहीं करती
• If he were a stranger ,I would never talk to him .

Note :- Conditional Sentences बनाते समय यदि वाले वाक्य के साथ were आता है चाहे Subject singular हो या Plural .

1. जैसे :- He were
2. She were
3. They were
4. We were

• अगर मैं तुम्हारा दोस्त होता तो उसकी बात कभी नहीं मानता ।
• If I were your friend , I would never listen to him .
• अगर वह टीचर होता तो सब सिखाता ।
• If he were a teacher, he would teach everything.
• अगर मैं चोर होता तो सोना चोरी करता
• If I were a thief ,I would steal the gold .
•  अगर मैं माली होता तो बहुत सारे फूल उगता
• If I were a gardener I would grow lots of flowers .
• अगर वह टीचर होता तो मेरी मदद करता

• अगर मेरे पास समय होता तो वह अपने गुरु से जरूर मिलता ।

• यदि उसके पास साइकिल होती तो वह पैदल स्कूल नहीं जाता।
• If he had a bicycle ,he wouldn’t walk to school on foot.
• अगर मेरे पास बहुत पैसे होते तो मैं सबको खुशियां बांटता ।

3. Action ( कार्य/काम ) : ऐसे वाक्यों में इंसान कल्पना करता है कि यह कार्य होता तो मैं ऐसा करता

• अगर वह आती तो हम गीत गाते
• If she came ,we would sing a song .
• अगर तुम फोन करते तो मैं प्लान बनती

• अगर मैं मुंबई जाती तो film Industry में कदम जरूर रखती
• If I went to Mumbai, I would definitely enter the film industry .
• अगर तुम्हारा दोस्त आता तो मैं उसके लिए खाना बनाती
• If your friend came, I would cook for him .
• अगर तुम उसके घर जाते तो वह अपने पापा से मिलवाता ।
• If you went to his house , he would introduce you to his father .

Would conditional sentences examples?

Third ( 3rd ) Type Conditional Sentences में पछतावे की भावनाएं छुपी होती है ।अगर आप वाक्य में कहना चाहते हैं कि ऐसा नहीं किया होता तो आज ऐसा नहीं होआ होता ।इन तरह के वाक्यों के लिए would का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।

second Conditional Sentences की तरह ही इसमें भी तीन तरह की सिचुएशन होती है ।

State of being में इंसान कोई स्थिति में होने की कल्पना करता है ।

• अगर मैं तुम्हारा दोस्त नहीं होता तो उसे जवाब दे दिया होता
• If I had not been your friend , I would have replied to him .
• अगर वह बीमार नहीं होता तो पार्टी में बहुत शोर मचाता ।
• If he hadn’t been sick , he would have made a lot of noise at the party .
• अगर मैं तुम्हारी जगह होता तो उसकी मदद जरूर किया होता ।
• If I had been in your place, I would have definitely helped him.
• अगर मैं व्यस्त होता तो क्रिकेट नहीं देखा होता ।
• If I had been busy, I would not have watched cricket.
• अगर तुम वहां होते तो मेरा गाना सुना होता
• If you had been there , you would have heard my song.
• अगर तुम मेरी दोस्त होती तो मैं तुम्हें उसके बारे में बताती पर तुम मेरी दोस्त नहीं थी ।

2. State of Possession : ऐसे वाक्यों में इंसान कल्पना करता है कि उसके पास कोई चीज होती या अन्य व्यक्ति के पास कोई चीज होती ।

Structure 

If + Subject + had + had + . object + , + Subject + would have + v3 + object.

• अगर मेरे पास कार होती तो मैं सब जगह घूमती ।
• If I had had a car , I would have travelled everywhere.
• अगर उसके पास डिग्री होती तो वह टीचर की पोस्ट के लिए अप्लाई किया होता ।
• If he had had a degree, he would have applied for the post of teacher .
• अगर मेरे पास मोबाइल होता तो मैंने यूट्यूब चैनल क्रिएट किया होता ।
• If I had had a mobile phone, I would have created a YouTube channel.
• अगर मेरे पास पैसे होते तो मैं नया कार्य नहीं खोजा होता ।
• If I had had money, I wouldn’t look for a new job .
• अगर मेरे पास इतनी सुविधा होती तो मैं उसे जरूर मिलता
• If I had had such facilities, I would have definitely met him .
• अगर उस वक्त मेरे पास गाड़ी होती तो मैंने उसे अस्पताल पहुंचा दिया होता ।
• If I had had a car at that time, I would have taken him to the hospital.

3. Action -ऐसे वाक्यों में आप कल्पना करती है कि ऐसा हुआ होता तो ऐसा मैं किया होता ।

• अगर उसे सबकुछ पता होता तो वो ऐसा नहीं करता ।

• अगर मै साई मंदिर गई होती तो उनके वचनों को सही से पढ़ा होता।

• अगर तुमने अच्छे से रिसर्च किया होता तो इस टॉपिक में तुम्हें जानकारी मिल गई होती ।
