जब वाक्य के अंत में सवाल पूछते हुए हम कह रहे हैं ,है ना ? तो इसे इंग्लिश ग्रामर में क्वेश्चन टैग कहते हैं ।

आसान भाषा में Question Tags की परिभाषा यह है –
व्यक्ति को अपनी बात कहते समय यदि संदेह या शंका है तो वह अपने प्रश्न में ” है ना ” जोड़ देते है ।उदाहरण के माध्यम से समझाने का प्रयास करती हूं

अब जानते हैं Question Tags बनाते समय कौन-कौन Auxiliary Verb से इस्तेमाल होंगे ।
Auxiliary Verb 24 होते हैं और Auxiliary Verb को क्वेश्चन टैग में use कैसे करते हैं इनका Contracted Form क्या है ? चलिए जानते है।
Contracted Form of Question Tags
Question tag rules (क्वेश्चन टैग बनाने का तरीका )
1. जब आपका वाक्य सकारात्मक होगा तो क्वेश्चन टैग नेगेटिव इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा । जब आपका नकारात्मक होगा तो क्वेश्चन टैग सकारात्मक इस्तेमाल किया जाएगा ।
Structure -सकारात्मक वाक्य Positive sentences+ comma ( , ) + नकारात्मक क्वेश्चन टैग (Negative Question Tag)
तुम गीता हो है ना ?
You are Geeta ,aren’t you?
तुम पिछली रात यहां मूवी देखी थी है ना ?
You watched this movie yesterday ,didn’t you?
2. Subject कोई पुरुष है और उसका नाम वाक्य में दिया गया है तो Question Tag में he लिखा जाएगा । इसी तरह से Subject कोई स्त्री है तो Question Tag में she लिखा जाएगा ।
मैं डांसर हूं है ना ?
I am a dancer aren’t I?
वह गिटार बजाता है है ना ?
He plays a guitar ,isn’t he?
सार्थक आया था है ना ?
Sarthak came , didn’t he?
सोहन का भाई ने किताब नहीं पढ़ा था ,है ना ?
Sohan’s brother had not read a book ,had he?
वे किताब पढ़ रहे थे , है ना ?
They were reading a magazine , weren’t they ?
3 .आपके वाक्य में nothing ,scarcely ,rarely,nobody,never,seldom, little, no one,not,none ,hardly,neither, no, few है तो इसका मतलब है कि आपका वाक्य नकारात्मक है जब वाक्य नकारात्मक होगा तब Question Tag पॉजिटिव यूज करना है ।
structure -नकारात्मक वाक्य (Negative Statement )+ Comma( , ) +सकारात्मक क्वेश्चन टैग ( Positive Question Tag )
मेरे पास पैसे नहीं है , है ना ?
I have no money ,have I?
कोई वहां नहीं जाना चाहता है है ना ?
No one want to go there , do they?
सीमा के पास कुछ पढ़ने के लिए नहीं है , है ना ?
Seema has nothing to read , has she ?
उसने शराब नहीं पी है है ना?
He has not drunk , has he?
तुम ना के बराबर उसके घर जाते हो है ना ?
You seldom go to his home , do you ?
4. वाक्य की शुरुआत में सब्जेक्ट अगर this / that / one तो Question Tags “it ” होगा। वाक्य की शुरुआत में these / those है तो Question Tags ” they ” होगा ।
यहां नोटबुक होनी चाहिए है ना ?
There should be a notebook shouldn’t it?
कोई भी उसे बुला सकता है , है ना ?
One can call him , can’t one?
यह मेरी साड़ी है , है ना ?
This is my saree , isn’t it?
वे सब सीमा का सामान है , है ना ?

4. Imperative Sentence (Positive ) or Imperative Sentence(Negative Sentence) में Question Tags “Will you ” या “Won’t you”कोई भी आप वाक्य के अनुसार इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं ।
किताब ले आओ ,लाओगे क्या ?
Bring the notebook , will you?
मोबाइल स्विच ऑफ करो ,नहीं करोगे क्या ?
Switch off the mobile ,won’t you?
कृपया एक पत्र लिख दो , लिखोगे क्या ?
Kindly write a letter ,will you?
मूवी मत देखो , देखोगे क्या ?
Don’t watch movies ,will you?
5. Indefinite pronoun (Every ,Some,Any ,No) के साथ जुड़कर ” body ” या “one ” आऐ तो Question Tag में “they” आएगा ।
कोई भी वहां पहुंच सकता है , है ना ?
Anybody can reach there , can’t they?
हर व्यक्ति पैसा कमाता है ,है ना ?
Everybody earns money, don’t they?
कोई भी puzzle solve नही कर सकता है , है ना ?
No one could solve the Puzzle, could they?
कुछ मंगवाया जा सकता है ,है ना ?
Something can be brought ,can’t it?
कुछ नहीं बोला जा सकता , है ना ?
Nothing can be spoken ,can it?
6. जब वाक्य Let’s या let us से शुरू हो तो में
“Shall we “आएगा ।अगर वाक्य की शुरुआत में let him/ her/ them /me हो तो Question Tag में “will you “आएगा ।
Let me read this letter will you?
Let him go there at once , will you ?
Let us invite him ,shall we?
Let’s make a noise shall we?
